Recently, the FCC issued a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking considering whether to apply Communications Act privacy requirements to providers of broadband internet access service.  While many broadband providers have expressed opposition to the proposed rules, public interest groups have registered their support.  Glenn Richards will moderate a panel on July 12, 2016 from 1:00-2:00 PM ET that features speakers from CTIA and Public Knowledge.
